Dead Space Movie On The Way

EA has teamed up with Temple Hill partners Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey to produce a Dead Space film.

According to Variety, DJ Caruso, who helmed the Shia LaBeouf conspiracy thriller Eagle Eye, is signed on to direct the film and EA, the producers and Caruso are currently looking at screenwriters. Once EA has approved the creative direction of the film, the script will be auctioned to studios, most likely in September.

The game is set in the 26th century and follows the story of Isaac Clarke, who is sent to investigate a stranded mining ship and finds an alien virus which has turned the ship’s crew into grotesque creatures.
