Codemasters To Support Russian Language

Codemasters has today confirmed it will be supporting Russian language in all of their key titles.

Fully supporting the Russian language and localisation will include the titles Rise of the Argonauts, Damnation and Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising.

Codemasters are pushing to drive for growth in emerging economic markets, one of which is Russia, and this will be the first of the markets that Codemasters cater for.

“Codemasters has targeted Russia as a front-line territory, key to our overall EMEA strategy” said Axel Herr, senior VP publishing, EMEA, Codemasters.

“Localisation and tailoring of content is key to our emerging market strategy and Codemasters is keen to continue leading the charge in these fast-evolving markets.”

Noviy Disk will be the brains behind the localisation for console versions, while Vellod will distribute the games.

Other markets Codemasters are keeping their eyes on are the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe and India.
