doublesix, the award winning developer behind the action-packed undead-shooter Burn Zombie Burn!, has announced the spiritual successor to the highly acclaimed game with All Zombies Must Die! A mix of weapons-based arena combat and light RPG elements, this quirky new zombie-blasting action game will be made available to players around the globe Q4 2011 via the PlayStation(R)Network and Steam.

Jim Mummery, creative director at doublesix says “After the success of Burn Zombie Burn, we’ve been looking forward to dishing up a new serving of undead craziness but this is no straight sequel. All Zombies Must Die! has its own unique ingredients with weapons-based arena combat, weapon crafting, character development, a whole lot of questing and much much more – all mixed in with a huge portion of zombie action.“

A Gamer, a Girl, a Mad Scientist and an Alien are all that stands between 6 billion zombies and the world’s supply of delicious, supple brains. All Zombies Must Die! drops up to four players into the town of Deadhill, where they must blast their way through ranks of brain hungry monsters with a variety of weaponry while completing quests served up by the game’s insane storyline. doublesix is combining elements of action and role-playing, including character levelling, weapons crafting and numerous quests. The graphics reflect the silly yet sinister nature of the gameplay with a bright, comic style.

Savvy survivors will utilize a combination of the surrounding environment and improvised weaponry to aid in their fight against an unrelenting army of terrifying, yet funny, zombies. As they progress, players will unlock new weapons, new characters and new arenas as well as the ability to customize both their characters and weapons.

Players will be racing from the undead hordes, unloading on them with handcrafted weaponry assembled from items found throughout the game’s levels, such as the Magma Storm Assault Rifle, Odin’s Toothpick Katana and the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun. Zombies can be shot, slashed, blasted, blown up, electrocuted, torched, irradiated and zapped in a number of horrifying and hilarious ways, causing them to drop useful items like ammo, armor and hamburgers.

All Zombies Must Die! unleashes the craziest digital zombie apocalypse ever Q4 2011 via PlayStation(R)Network and Steam.
