Namco Bandai has announced Tekken Hybrid, a compilation bundle of CG movie Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D and a high-definition remake of Tekken Tag Tournament. Tekken Tag Tournament HD is exactly what the name implies: an HD remake of the popular PS2 brawler. Screens below, obviously. Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D, on the other hand, is a full CG movie with 3D compatibility, which has been created by a list of names anime fans should recognise. It's being produced by Digital Frontier (the company behind Resident Evil: Degeneration, Death Note, and Appleseed), written by Dai Saito (Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and scored by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tekken 6). Oh, and it's directed by Youichi Mouri, who directed the intro sequences to Tekken 5 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.
