Aussie Distributer Goes Into Administration

One of Australia's largest game distributors, Red Ant, has gone into administration according to recent reports.

The Sydney-based company distributes games for a number of publishers including Konami, Bethesda, Midway and Capcom.

According to Edge, Red Ant is still trading despite limited resources and administrator Deloitte Touche is attempting to sell the company as a going concern. 

The news casts doubt on a number of upcoming Australian releases including Streetfighter IV and Resident Evil 5.
