Pearl Jam's new Backspacer album will be debuting on Rock Band at the same time as its release in stores.
We've heard some of this before but we do now know that the album itself is out on 20 September, and will be hitting the Rock Band music store on the Xbox 360 on 20 September, Wii on 22 September, and PlayStation 3 on 24 September.
The album looks to contain 11 tracks, which can be bought seperately or, on PS3 and 360, all together in a track pack. The listing follows:
Singly, these'll cost 160 Microsoft Points/£0.99 GBP/€1.49 EUR/$1.99 USD/200 Wii Points each. To get the whole lot as a track pack, you'll be spending 1440 Microsoft Points/£9.19 GBP/€21.95 EUR/$17.99 USD.
Pearl Jam fans in the States will be able to pick up a special edition Backspacer album at Target stores, which includes not only the album, but a code allowing them to download the album for Xbox 360 or PS3, free of charge.
We're not yet sure whether this will make up the entirety of the music store content for next week. It seems likely, but then, we haven't heard anything about the PSP's Rock Band Unplugged update, so there could still be more to come. Stay tuned.
Finally, if you're a Pearl Jam fan, bear in mind that there are rumours that a Pearl Jam: Rock Band game/track pack is in the works.
UPDATE: EA has confirmed that Megadeth's Wake Up Dead and The Fratellis' Flat Head will hit the PSP's Rock Band Unplugged music store next week, priced at £0.99 GBP/€1.49 EUR/$1.99 USD each.
