Battlefield 1943 More Popular Than Expected

EA's online shooter Battlefield 1943 on Xbox 360 has been so popular the servers are now full.

This has left some gamers unable to play the game until another player leaves the server.

Gordon Van Dyke, producer for DICE, posted on the official forum:

"Good News, the game is incredibly successful beyond even my expectations. We have reached server capacity"

"The bad news about this now some people can't join unless someone leaves. But don't worry, we are adding more servers ASAP to Xbox."

Since posting, more servers have been added to the game and more are expected for the PS3 launch tomorrow.
