Reviews, reviews and more reviews.
The past seven days ending 7 October turned out to be review week here at IncGamers, the likes of Forza 4, Rage, Crysis, Dark Souls and The Binding of Isaac having been put through their paces.
As is the nature of such things, there were winners and there were losers. The biggest of the success stories was undoubtedly Dark Souls, awarded only the second ever IncGamers 10/10. Rage, Forza 4 and The Binding of Isaac also performed exceptionally, all walking away with 9/10.
Elsewhere, Worm: Ultimate Mayhem and A Game of Thrones achieved lesser scores - 3/10 and 5/10, respectively.
Reviews aside, a number of major games were given the 'preview' treatment, with Max Payne 3, Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 vying for our pre-release attentions. We've also got a special feature entitled 'Max Payne 3's gameplay made easy' in which we break down the key mechanics in (the ever-popular) bullet point format.
If you're feeling starved for info on the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum, we've got an interview with Rocksteady's Dax Ginn for your reading pleasure. Ginn talks about such things as killing-off characters, the move to an open-world environment and how you go about following up one of the finest games of this generation.
