Konami has announced that the award-winning Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has been added to the PS3 Greatest Hits collection and will be available for $29.99 from 16 June.
In addition, the original Metal Gear Solid will be released on the Playstation Network on 18 June for $9.99.
"Since it's debut in 1987, the Metal Gear franchise has stood the test of time and continues to break new standards in story-telling and gameplay," said Anthony Crouts, vice president of marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., "These two releases are a perfect way to bridge the original game that created this genre with the latest masterpiece that brought it to an all-new level."
