THQ Unveil World Of Zoo

World of Zoo, a new zoo-building game for the DS, Wii and PC, has been unveiled by THQ today.

The game, being developed by the makers of the Zoo Tycoon series, Blue Fang, will allow players to build their own virtual zoo and fill it with over 90 types of animals, each animal customisable, spanning 11 families. Players can also learn about each animal through facts provided by National Geographic.

“We are excited to introduce this game to animal lovers and zoo fans of all ages,” said Randy Shoemaker, vice president, global brand management at THQ. “This game expands the real-world zoo experience, giving players an all-access pass to interact with the world’s most amazing animals up close and personal.”

World of Zoo, which is being showcased at the E3 today, is expected to go on sale this Autumn. Find out more at the official site.
