FIFA 15 goes balls-out, extends EA’s Premier League agreement to 2019
EA have announced that they’ve extended their existing agreement with the Premier League until the end of the 2018/2019 season. Which probably means that FIFA 15, FIFA 16, FIFA 17 etc. will still be pretty authentic when it comes to that particular kickball competition.
In raw terms, this means that EA are still the “official sports technology partner” of the Premier League. In slightly less yawn-worthy terms, this means that FIFA 15 will have “an unprecedented level of detail” on the Premier League players and stadiums. EA will be scanning the heads of over 200 players, building realistic stadiums (in the game) for all 20 League clubs, and using recorded match atmosphere from the 2013/2014 season in the game. Oh, and they’re also going to be using the Premier League’s Goal Decision System. I have no idea what that means, but it’s probably a good thing.
FIFA 15 is due out on 26 September, and will absolutely be the most authentic kickball experience until next year’s FIFA game.Related to this story
