The DOTA 2 International 4 finalists are decided
DOTA 2

Who will win?

Today was the last day to decide which International 4  teams would make the cut and now we’re down to the last two.

Throughout the day the remaining teams have been battling for the chance to take on the US team Evil Geniuses, who were the final hurdle to overcome for the would-be second grand finalist. Vici made it through the earlier rounds today and faced EG this evening, but EG were eventually knocked out in the third game.

The end result today was that DK take fourth place and Evil Geniuses finish in third.

With these final games now complete, the two Chinese teams of Newbee and Vici will battle for that $5 million winner’s prize tomorrow. This is a match not to be missed, even if it’s just to watch the sheer elation of the winning team picking up the massive winnings.

Last year was the first time I watched the final and as a DOTA 2 beginner I had no idea what was going on. Despite not understanding most of the jargon (there was no newbie stream last year) it was very entertaining and it’s definitely worth your viewing time.

All of the action from the final can be watched on the live stream from 9AM PDT tomorrow (Monday 21st).
