Whoever took this picture perhaps needs to adjust the brightness on their monitor.

Perhaps not the most exciting news, but good to know anyway: Grand Theft Auto 5 (or GTA 5, or GTAV, or whatever) now has its own Steam page.

GTA 5 isn’t yet available to pre-order on Valve’s digital distribution service, but the release date – “Fall 2014″ – at least mirrors what we’ve heard, and it’s good to know that it will be appearing there rather than on some magical Rockstar digital distribution service they’re designing specially. The details listed on said Steam page also mirror what we already heard in terms of the PC version having higher resolution graphics, a better draw distance, denser traffic, and the like. Oh, yes, and GTA 5 on PC will have a built-in video editor for “advanced movie-making.”

Interestingly, it does mention a few other bits and pieces. I don’t recall “upgraded AI” being mentioned on the improvements listed yesterday, but it’s there on the Steam page, along with the “new wildlife” and “advanced weather and damage effects” we heard about already. If that new wildlife somehow includes giant spiders, I am going to be deeply displeased.

Alas, the Steam page doesn’t include any super-shiny new PC screenshots, but we’ll let you know as soon as we spot some.

In celebration of the inclusion of a video editor, I present to you my favourite GTA 4 video. I have high hopes for this particular fan-made movie getting a sequel when GTA 5 hits the PC in a few months time. I rather doubt it’ll officially support mods, but PC gamers have rarely let that stop them…

Horses and spiders apparently lol :). Looks like PC owners are finally getting justice as well with a GTAV version made specifically for us.
