podcast 162

Welcome to the post-PAX, post-Easter news-fest, during which the IncGamers Podcast will tear at scraps of news-meat like carrion going after a bone.

There’s also a bit of religious blasphemy for good measure.

Oh okay, the news is not quite that terrible. But our lead story is “quite a lot of games are coming out on 7 October.” That’s true though, they are. Dragon Age: Inqusition, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Alien: Isolation are all due that day, with Batman: Arkham Knight one week later. Busy busy. And also expensive, if you’re keen on all of those games.

You won’t have to wait that long for Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition though, because a western version of that is coming to the PC in May. I’m excited.

Elsewhere, Charlie Brooker is delighted to be able to shoot himself in the face in Sniper Elite 3, Star Citizen runs out of alpha spots and H1Z1 attempts to distinguish itself further from DayZ.

I’ve been falling off a motorbike a lot in Trials Fusion, while Tim has been wrapping up the puzzling case of the Serpent’s Curse in Broken Sword 5′s concluding episode. Paul, meanwhile, has been testing out some stylish eye-wear.

Watch¬†us Youtube, listen, download or mentally absorb the podcast, below. You can find more podcast episodes in the musty IncGamers archive, plus a few at Apple’s shiny iTunes place.

Tim was thinking of f.lux, which is fairly popular among computer programming nerds. It takes some getting used to, but it is quite nice as long as you’re not editing photos or anything else that requires attention to color.

    1. Yeh that’s the one. A lot easier firing on a pair of glasses though and not having your PC change automatically based on time.
