free to play

Valve’s Dota 2-themed documentary Free to Play has been updated with some new content.

The 2.1GB patch adds in a few fixes – apparently the menu and some localisations have had bug fixes – as well as marking the launch of a Linux version. Slightly more interestingly, though, this also adds “Premiere Q&A content”.

Which, I suspect, means that this is the Q&A session that took place at the premiere, which had both Dendi and Fear – as well as a bunch of chaps from Valve who worked on the documentary – being interviewed by James “2GD” Harding, and the audience. It’s quite possibly worth watching, particularly as it’s free!

If you haven’t watched Free to Play, you probably should, as even my non-Dota 2-playing parents enjoyed it. It’s free and can be found over here, or if you need further convincing, you can have a read of my thoughts.
