Wales Interactive – the developers of Master Reboot – have revealed Infinity Runner, a first-person runner with Oculus Rift support.

Infinity Runner is set on a gargantuan starship called The Infinity, with you playing a prisoner trying to flee the ship and escape the werewolf stalking its corridors. It looks very endless runner-y, in terms of having to jump and slide at the right times, but there seems to be a bit more to it than that. And I’m not sure if it’s actually an endless runner, although the ship being called The Infinity sort of hints at that.

Other than running, jumping, and sliding, you can expect a bit of combat, a full story mode, and multiplayer. It looks a bit spooky, too, although considering this comes from the people who made Master Reboot that probably shouldn’t come as a surprise.

You can have a look at the trailer and some screens for Infinity Runner below, and see what you think. For my part, I’m curious to see more.
