podcast 155

Exciting times for the IncGamers Podcast this week as we record while Gabe Newell is doing his rescheduled Reddit AMA (here’s the good stuff from that). Will we get the Half-Life 3 announcement mid-podcast? Why am I even trying to build this up when the answer is obvious? I don’t know. You will learn which DOTA 2 character is Gabe’s favourite, though.

In other news, there’s going to be another Batman: Arkham game! This time it has a car! Does that mean some Ocean Software inspired, side-scrolling driving bits? Almost certainly, yes.

End of Nations is probably no more after Trion put it “on hold,” which I guess is the game equivalent of “spending more time with your family.” Paul reminisces about the 27 different beta versions he’s played over the years.

Meanwhile, Namco remain evasive about the PC release date for Dark Souls 2, and we give the Bug of the Week award to Battlefield 4 for “instant death while sprinting.” Congratulations to DICE, there.

I’ve been jimmying open an infinite set of windows in Thief, Tim’s been spending time with the KKK (not that one, a different one) in South Park: The Stick of Truth and Paul has been building walls at 6am in EverQuest Landmark.

Watch, listen and download the podcast just below these words (all at once, if you want.) You can find more podcast episodes in the murky IncGamers archives and iTunes is keeping some warm for us too.

If you have anything you think we should discuss on next week’s podcast, send it to editor@incgamers.com and mark the email “THIS IS A THING FOR THE PODCAST.”
