How to swap your Titanfall Xbox One beta key for a Titanfall PC one

14 Feb 2014  by   Peter Parrish

Propel yourself towards a PC Titanfall beta key.

By the sounds of it, some people who signed up for the PC beta of Titanfall are receiving Xbox One keys by mistake. That’s not an ideal state of affairs, especially if you don’t even have an Xbox One. Luckily, EA has a bit of a work-around in place.

If you got the wrong type of Titanfall beta key, they recommend you try this:

  1. On EA Help – Search for Titanfall and select Contact Us.
  2. Select PC as the Platform, and click Next
  3. Select the Topic – Demo/Beta and type in Eligibility Issue in the subject line, and click Next
  4. Click on Email Me.
  5. On the next screen, when asking for What type of Demo/Beta issue you are having, select Eligibility
  6. Enter the Titanfall Beta code that is not working as the description of the problem.
  7. Select Submit.
  8. You will receive a new PC code within the next two hours.

Hopefully that’ll work, and you’ll soon be able to mess around with anti-aliasing settings and PC resolutions to your heart’s content.

I sympathise with you guys. That really is bad news getting an Xbox code, hope that you get it sorted out soon so you can join the action.

If you hadn’t bought it on an inferior platform in the first place you wouldn’t have this problem!

On EA Help – Search for Titanfall and select Contact Us.
Select either PC or Xbox One as the Platform, depending on which platform you’ve originally signed up for, and click Next
Select the Topic – Demo/Beta and type in Eligibility Issue in the subject line, and click Next
    Click on Email Me.
On the next screen, when asking for What type of Demo/Beta issue you are having, select Eligibility
Enter the Titanfall Beta code that is not working as the description of the problem.
    Select Submit.
You will receive a new Xbox One code or be granted access on PC within the next two hours.

THIS DOESN’T EVEN F*CKEN WORK! I go to EA help, put everything in, then it says to log in and when I press log in all it comes up with is a white screen and doesn’t LOAD! Then I exited after waiting an hour and then went to can’t access my account. It worked but in the \How would you like to contact us?\ ITS F*CKEN BLANK. There are no options, no nothing. I’ve been trying to resolve this for hours but the damn thing won’t WORK! **** You EA!

same here, it’s really….really irritating me and pissing me off, waited patiently for this, saw the email of my Beta Access, opened it….Xbone Beta Code Instead….Wtf? I don’t Own an Xbone nor do i plan to, I signed up For the PC Beta Dammit, NOT THE XBONE!….can’t even log in at the EA Help site, keep getting shitty 502-503 error or just a blank damned page loading up! WTF!!!!!!

Right now, EA’s website is sucking eggs so not only can I not log into my Origin account on their website, I also can’t do ANYTHING on their website.

I have an xbox one code, I asked for PC…anyone willing to trade? I would follow the above steps however EA has seen to have shut down there help section

    February 16, 2014 at 5:38 am

  14. Scipi

The help servers are having trouble and I am unable to get my key swapped because I keep getting 503 errors and can’t log in when I actually can load the site.

Honestly, if I am having this much trouble trying to access their Help site to fix their mistake, how am I to believe there won’t be massive server issues once the game goes live?

You guys realize Titanfall opea beta for PC is tomorrow right?

    February 16, 2014 at 5:40 am

    1. Spartan0297

Hence why people want to get in NOW and play a bit before it goes OPEN.

      February 16, 2014 at 5:41 am

      1. SikoSGPrez

We have waited this long. What is 1 more day? Patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait.

    2. Andrew

FALSE,I have friends who have been playing it on their PC’s since yesterday

      February 16, 2014 at 5:41 am

      1. SikoSGPrez

Actually my statement is TRUE. What your friends are playing yesterday was closed beta. Open beta is tomorrow. Understand the difference?

        2. Andrew

Sorry, when you said there was an “opea” beta, wasn’t sure what opea meant.

          February 16, 2014 at 5:49 am

          1. SikoSGPrez

No worries man. Closed beta means only selected people get invited to play. Open beta means it’s open to the general public. Hope this was helpful.
