Borderlands 2 wedding day massacre - 04

Gearbox have announced the final two Headhunter packs for Borderlands 2.

The first, Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre, sees the titular Moxxi (fnarr, fnarr) attempting to bring together the feudin’ and fightin’ Hodunks and Zafords. Or, at the very least, helping a pair of robots find love. As you might expect, this is due out around Valentine’s Day – on 11 February, to be exact, for £2.39 – and will offer new heads and costumes. As you might also expect, it’s probably not going to go quite as planned. Screens and the like below.

Alas, the very same post that announces this also mentions that Gearbox are now “pushing some technical limitations making it near impossible to add more missions, items and such.” As such, the very final Headhunter add-on – and likely the very final piece of DLC for Borderlands 2 – will be April’s Sir Hammerlock Versus the Son of Crawmerax, which appears to be so accurately named that I can’t really add much. Let’s just move onto the screenshots for Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre, eh?

Sounds cool, I’m looking forward to more on Sir Hammerlock’s DLC. Would like to see more gun manufacturers and I wonder why they’re coming up against technical limitations, they’re just quests aren’t they in seperate files?

Prolly has to do with install file size limitations imposed by the console manufacturers perhaps plus the fact the tech on the old gen is well 7 years old
