Titanfall alpha video footage leaks – PC version should look even betterTitanfall

A slight disclaimer here, all footage in this video is from the Xbone One version of . As a PC only site I wouldn’t usually post these but there was a lot of debate around the maximun player numbers of 6v6 a couple of weeks ago.

The video has been taken from the closed alpha where a limited number of players were invited to take part. This is not from a beta version of the game.

What this video illustrates is the gameplay pace, weapons and levels. It’s apparent from watching the video that there should be no concern over the number of players in a game, the action is fast and frantic. It’s hard to tell the quality of the game’s visuals from the video, but recording resolution aside, this should look quite spectacular on the PC.

Will this game live up to all the hype? Based on what we see here it could take the FPS crown this year.

For some reason it reminds me of the original Tribes when it comes to pace which is a huge compliment as Tribes was one of the finest team based FPS games ever made.

Titanfall launches on 11 March.
