System of a Down blither onto Rocksmith 2014

system-of-a-down

Look, I’m sorry. I can’t take anyone who has a beard like that seriously.

It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means: it’s time for me to pretend I write for a snobby music magazine and mock the shit out of the latest Rocksmith 2014 DLC, despite having all the musical taste of a concussed newt.

Unfortunately, this week it’s System of a Down, which is such an easy target it’d be like shooting fish in a barrel. With a grenade launcher. So let’s dispense with the mockery, and just say that you can get your hands on Toxicity, B.Y.O.B, and Aerials, each of which will cost £2.39. If you’re a huge fan you can also grab hold of the entire song pack for a mere £6.49, which works out to £2.16 a song for a saving of holy shit.

All three are playable on electric guitar or bass, and all three come with a new Authentic Tone. In short: same as usual. And hey, in all seriousness – if you like System of a Down and want to learn how to play those three tracks, go for it. I’m not judging you.

(I’m probably judging you.)
