IncGamers’ Mega List of Upcoming 2014 PC Gamespc games 2014

2014 Unspecified Release Dates

The Sims 4 (Maxis, 2014)

The Sims 4 - 13

May as well start putting aside some cash for expansion packs now.

Sleeping Dogs: Triad Wars (United Front Games, 2014)

Sleeping Dogs - Year of the Snake

We’re still not entirely sure what this game is. We know it exists. We know it’ll use the Sleeping Dogs name. But aside from a blurry image-of-a-screenshot that appeared to (maybe) show Wei Shen in familiar third-person perspective, there isn’t a whole lot to go on. 2014 will definitely reveal more, and may (or may not) offer a release date too.

Sniper Elite 3 (Rebellion, 2014)

sniper elite 3

I’ve never played a Sniper Elite title, but I believe they have something to do with headshots and kill-cams. This one’s set in Africa, during the early years of World War II.

Star Citizen (Roberts Space Industries, various points in 2014)

Star Citizen

The game that earned more money than god won’t be fully released until 2015, but some bits and pieces should be out this year. The dogfighting “module” is scheduled for April, and an alpha version of the single player mode is planned in August. By the end of 2014, most bits could be in beta testing.

Transistor (Supergiant Games, 2014)

From the creators of Bastion. Oh, what, you need more than that? It’s from the guys who did Bastion, come on! You can trust them. Fine. It’s a top-down-ish RPG featuring a singer who has an intelligent sword. Real-time fightin’ with pause for ‘planning modes.’

Wargame: Red Dragon (Eugen Systems, 2014)

Several people hailed Wargame: Airland Battle as the one bright spark for RTS titles in 2013. So we’d better pay attention to this third entry in the series when it comes out in 2014, hadn’t we?

Warlock 2: The Exiled (Ino-Co, 2014)

Warlock 2 - 04

Strategic follow-up to Warlock: Master of the Arcane. I know that’s a bit of a boring description, but sometimes it’s just that simple.

Wasteland 2 (inXile, 2014)

Wasteland 2 - 5

Currently in beta testing, we should see the sequel to Fallout’s forefather (are you following?) tackling Radscorpions at some point in 2014.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (CD Projekt Red, mid-to-late 2014)

The Witcher 3

Now even Witchi-er than ever, as Geralt goes open world. CD Projekt say the map is 50,000 times larger than Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto V combined (or something,) which leaves lots more room for monsters, RPG choices and ploughing whoresons.

The Witness (Number None, 2014)

The Witness

You are trapped on a colourful island and Jonathan Blow has left you puzzles to solve. Lots of puzzles.

Wolfenstein: The New Order (Machine Games, 2014)

Wolfenstein The New Order - 02

If you’ve ever wanted a videogame adaptation of Philip K Dick’s The Man in the High Castle, then this is … sort of it. It has alternative-history Nazis ruling the world in the 1960s, but rather more first-person shooting than Dick’s novel. Probably.
