Star Citizen

It’s taken just three days for Star Citizen to raise another $1m, it’s so fast I had to double-take the update.

With the new goals focusing in adding news ships Cloud Inperium encouraging fans to dig deep and part with cash to bring more ships to the game. It’s a bit weird if you think about it, we’re dipping in for ships which nobody has seen but the concept sounds great. In fact nobody has actually flown a ship yet properly. Gamers are a weird bunch sometimes.

Looking ahead to the $32 million goal Cloud Imperium are wanting to put together the Aegis Surveyer:’

Aegis Surveyor – The Surveyor, from noted military contractor Aegis, is an industrial-quality salvage ship. Equipped with a reinforced cargo bay, a long-range jump drive and launch pods for unmanned drones, the Surveyor is an ideal ship for taking advantage of deep space wrecks. Tractor beams, floodlights, scanner options and docking ports round out the tool chest on this capable, utilitarian spacecraft.

Once again backers are being asked to vote for more ship additions on the update page. There’s also some Gladiator artwork as a reward for this latest round of funding which shows turrent customisation.
