The Mandate signs David Bradley as voice actor
The Mandate developers Perihelion Interactive are continuing to drum up support for their Kickstarter with more and more little announcements, and the latest is the announcement of David Bradley as part of the game’s voice cast.
You might not recognise the name immediately, but you will recognise Bradley. He played Filch in the Harry Potter films, Walder Frey in Game of Thrones, and – most recently – William Hartnell in An Adventure in Time and Space.
In The Mandate, he’ll be taking the role of Lord High Admiral Suvarov, the commander of the Grand Fleet and the chief military advisor to the new Empress. “I’m delighted to be working with the team at Perihelion Interactive to breathe life into the character of Suvarov,” Bradley commented. “The Mandate is my first foray into the world of videogames, and I’m fascinated to see how my vocal performance is realised within the game.”
The Mandate‘s Kickstarter has passed the halfway mark, with 13 days to go. The six-player co-op sandbox RPG looks rather interesting; have a gander at the Kickstarter if you haven’t already.
