GOG’s Black Friday deal offers 65 games at 70% off
I’ll grant you that GOG putting games on sale for the weekend is not a big surprise, even when it’s Black Friday, but it’s still probably worth me writing about it when they’re offering 65 games at 75% off. Assuming I can count, at least.
I’m not going to list all of them because that would take forever and would be impossible to read without falling asleep, but there are some easy highlights. Superb stealth-stabber The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is $4.49. Magical turn-based strategy Master of Magic is $1.79. The Tex Murphy adventures – Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, and Overseer, at least – are $2.99 each. Horror shooter/point-and-click adventure Realms of the Haunting is $1.79, as is real-time strategy/action title Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising. Realistic space combat simulator Independence War Deluxe is $1.79, as is its slightly-less-realistic Elite-esque sequel, Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos. Simon the Sorcerer 3D is still a horrific rip-off at $1.79, but at least the first two games in the series are the same price.
I’ll stop there. You get the gist of it: GOG have a really good mix of games and genres on sale, and there are some remarkably good titles on offer for next to nothing. Have a gander at GOG for yourself, and maybe pick a few titles up.
