Crusader Kings II: Sons of Abraham is out today, and to celebrate, Paradox have released a new trailer. And a new patch. And… well, they’ve also released Sons of Abraham. Obviously.

Sons of Abraham focuses on the Abrahamic religions – Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. You can attempt to control the Papacy by getting your own bishops appointed or ask the pope for money and favours, or you can take the role of a Jewish lord and try to restore Israel, or you can pick sides in an Islamic theological debate. Did I mention that this only costs £7.19, right now?

You can read the notes for patch 2.0 over here, but the “major” changes (as far as I’m concerned) are the addition of an Ironman mode, Steam Workshop support, and a bunch of modding additions. As is IncGamers tradition, I’ve picked out my favourite of the remaining patch notes: “Added the missing mother for Jeanne de Beaumont.”

Trailer below.
