According to Iceberg Interactive, InterWave Studios’ Dark Matter has infested both Steam and GOG, with other digital versions (and the retail versions, in England and Germany) hitting tomorrow. Want it? With the 10% launch discount, that’ll be £11 or so.

Dark Matter is perhaps best described as Dead Metroidvania Space, insofar as it’s a side-on Metroidvania-alike game in which you play the Ensign, forced to fight your way through a ship infested with lethal alien parasites. Expect darkness, scavenging, weapon construction, and more darkness.

Peter had a play of an early build; you can read his thoughts over here. Based on what he said, it might be worth your cash.
