Bundle Stars bundle offers Warframe currency and seven games for cheap
There are worse ways of getting currency for rather decent free-to-play sci-fi ninja-’em-up Warframe than to buy a big bundle of games for a couple of quid. That’s Bundle Stars’ thinking, anyway, and I tend to agree.
£2.60 (at the time of writing) will net you 170 Platinum currency for Warframe (about $10 worth), as well as seven other games. There’s the it-has-cars-so-I-haven’t-played-it GTR Evolution, the slightly ropey third-person shooter Dark Sector, the stop-murdering-my-childhood Cannon Fodder 3… oh, and some good stuff, too. Septerra Core is an old sci-fi JRPG, Space Pirates and Zombies is a freeform indie darling, and Guardians of Graxia (plus a map pack, and the Elves and Dwarves DLC) is a fantasy strategy game based around cards. There’s also creepy-looking first-person adventure 1953: KGB Unleashed, which – again – I know nothing about.
So, as with most bundles, it’s pretty mixed. Honestly, though, it looks like there’s something for everyone – if you’re a Warframe player it’s a cheap way of getting some currency and a load of free games, and for everyone else, Space Pirates and Zombies is probably worth the price alone. Even if you’re just vaguely interested in one or two of the games included, £2.60 is probably within your impulse purchase range.
