Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Well, I guess I’ll have to stop making constant jokes about how Ubisoft haven’t told us when Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is coming out on PC. Why? Because they’ve told us when Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is coming out on PC.

The date in question is 19 November. Not too bad, as the console launches are at the end of October. The title will also be a day-one launch title for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which means the PC won’t be the last version out! Hurrah!

However, you might already have “November 19″ and “Ubisoft” penciled in your diary, because… that’s the exact same date Watch Dogs is due out (although both games will presumably be out on 22 November in the UK, which is also my birthday and yes I’m expecting presents). Which is a little odd. Ubi releasing two high-profile open-world adventures on the same day? Hmm. The doom-saying cynic in me thinks Watch Dogs might get delayed on PC, but I honestly can’t see that happening.

Of course, Ubisoft still haven’t announced the PC release date for Assassin’s Cr… oh. Sorry. Old habits die hard.

Today also marks the release of a new Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer, which you can find over here.
