Not very puzzling: Shinyloot point-and-click sale offers a few goodies for cheap

shinyloot sale 2

I can’t say I’ve ever actually heard of before, but that might just be because my digital downloads tend to come from one of about three sites. Nonetheless: have a point-and-click sale going on, and there are some rather tasty little deals in there.

The most prominent games in there are probably the episodes (which our readers awarded Best Adventure of 2012) for $5 USD, and – plus The Critter Chronicles prequel – for $9.99 each (or $12.50 for the digital deluxe editions), but there’s a bit more in there.

The recent Oknytt, for instance, is $5, as is Jane Jensen’s Grey MatterDeponia is $9.99. The Gobliiins Trilogy is $2.50, and, uh… Nancy the Happy Whore and the Perfidious Petrol Station is $2.25. No, I don’t know what that is either.

If you’re looking for something a little more unorthodox, though, my personal recommendation would go to , a generally superb horror adventure in which a lonely, suicidal woman discovers she’s immortal and is tasked with killing a group of murderers. Kill Bill meets Highlander by way of Requiem for a Dream, if you like. It’s gruesome and gory and swear-filled, but it’s also surprisingly touching and deals extraordinarily well with the nature of depression. It has its issues – some of the voice acting and some of the villains chief amongst them – but it’s absolutely worth a play for $5.

Check out the full sale, which will run for another six days, here.
