No money, no problems: Superfly Indie bundle offering 10 games for $5
I’d imagine there are two really bad times to launch your indie bundle. One would be “while a Steam sale is on”, because everyone will be paying attention to that instead. The other would be “when a Steam sale has just finished”, because nobody will have any money left.
This hasn’t deterred Bundle Stars, though, who have aimed for the worst of both worlds by launching their “Superfly Indie” bundle just as the Steam Summer Sale is winding down.
Bit of a shame, too, as 10 games for $5 USD (£3.91 to you and me, fellow UK denizens) isn’t bad at all, and some of the games are pretty damn good.
This bundle contains the excellent first-person surreal-‘em-up Zeno Clash, the superb space-based mini-roguelike Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space, the Peter-liked-the-beta-code Cargo Commander, the… oh I’m bored of this already. Can I just do a bullet-point list? Thanks.
- Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD
- Afterfall Insanity Extended Edition
- Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers
- Cargo Commander
- Disciples III: Renaissance
- The Journey Down: Chapter 1
- Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior’s Rise
- Dungeons: The Dark Lord
- Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space
- Zeno Clash
So yeah, there’s a fair mix in there. I can attest that Zeno Clash and Weird Worlds are fantastic, and I can attest that Disciples 3 is a little bit rubbish but alright on a rainy day. I think I played a demo of Kung Fu Strike once. It seemed okay. And, um… I don’t think Peter was too keen on what he played of Afterfall Insanity, or the original Dungeons. The rest? No idea! But honestly, $5 is a rather good price for Zeno Clash and Weird Worlds alone, so hop to it. If you’re not totally broke, that is, and have sufficient time to play these along with everything you bought on Steam.
All ten games activate on Steam, and the Superfly Indie bundle is available for the next 23 days.Related to this story
