Another bug hunt: Aliens: Colonial Marines patched23 Jul 2013
Coming under the heading of “AI Improvements”, we have:
- Fixed an issue that could cause Xenos to walk upright on ceilings
- Fixed a bug where AI marines would occasionally default pose if incapacitated from a melee encounter
- Adjusted Xeno behavior to only allow for tail attacks when they’re on ceilings
Now, I haven’t played Colonial Marines because Peter took that particular bullet, but these patch notes make me think of a Xenomorph wandering upright along the ceiling, and then clawing ineffectually at the air when a marine wanders into range. And if that marine somehow gets incapacitated, rather than fall over, he’d just stand bolt upright.
