e3 2012

Update: Watch the videos of the conferences on the links below

Next week will be a hectic week here at IncGamers so stay tuned for fun and games with the myself, Peter, Tim, Jeff and DD. All the E3 coverage will be neatly placed in our E3 section.

E3 2013 really gets underway on Monday with a deluge of conferences all in the one day. If you’re in the UK then you’re in luck because these all get kick off after normal office hours.  A quick dash home should have you settled in for an evening of entertainment.

The Sony event is a little late for UK gamers so perhaps a few coughs and splutters on Monday will get you the day off on Tuesday. Not that we condone such actions of course.

So when does the fun begin? Check the times below.

As far as we’re concerned, the main events are the EA and Ubisoft conferences. However, we’ll be keeping a keen eye on the Sony and Microsoft events too and giving our thoughts on those from a PC gamer’s perspective. Nintendo on the other hand, we’ll probably not bother. Is anyone really interested in that?

The dismissal of Nintendo is a but shit, here. What’s all that about? They’re set to announce some really big titles, that could throw the wiiu right back into the mix. Real classy move, guys.

really? EA and UBIsoft are what to care about? I care the LEAST about those. Infact i’m the MOST interessted in what Nintendo will bring out onto the table. EA will just go \sports sports next gen graphics from 2008 sports sports\ and Ubisoft will have awkward comedians and raving rabids. Microsoft… bleh.. Sony and Nintendo are really the only interessting ones whatsoever.

It’s because Reggie killed Paul’s parents. But no, it’s mostly because we’re a PC site. Whoever is most likely to have PC exclusives or multiplatform release news is most relevant to us.

Oh, I’ll be watching the Ninty conference; I just doubt that there’ll be too much there that’ll impact us. That, incidentally, is also why we’re classing the Ubi/EA conferences as the “main events” – they’re the most likely to have stuff that’s relevant to our PC-only site. From the point of view of gamers in general, yeah, the MS/Sony/Ninty conferences will probably all have something interesting on display. It’s just that any focus on exclusives, or console pricing and integration, has basically no bearing on us as a site.

That, and Paul’s had an irrational fear of Nintendo ever since he discovered he was terrible at Mario. It’s his gaming blindspot.
