Spelunky HD

The HD version of Derek Yu’s Spelunky, released last year on Xbox Live, will be getting a PC version later this summer. Yu revealed the news through the game’s official site, declaring that the game is “coming home.”

Spelunky Classic, the original PC version, will still be available for free.

If you want the HD-ified release, Steam and GOG.com will be the places to visit. No precise date (or price) has been announced yet, but since the XBLA version was $15 USD I’d imagine that’s a fair guess.
