Deadfall Adventures

The latest set of screenshots from Nordic Games’ Deadfall Adventures have a certain sense of amoral glee about them, in-keeping with the title’s intended homage to early 20th Century adventure novels and pulp comics. This is a time where empires could do no wrong, and strolling into another culture’s sacred tombs to loot all of their belongings was your god-given right.

Still, that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy. It looks like not-Indiana-Jones protagonist ‘Quatermain’ (he’s like Prince, he only has one name) will be facing off against a fair amount of supernatural enemies, as well as the usual set of angry men with guns. You’ll also have to solve the odd puzzle here and there, probably involving slow-moving spiked walls and enclosed spaces. Maybe a boulder or two as well.

Deadfall Adventures is coming to the PC on 27 September.
