Wolfenstein: The New Order images show the state of the nation

The year is 1960, things are bad and robotic Nazis roam the earth. Even if you hated the real 60s, you’d be hard pressed to say they were worse than robo-Nazis. That’s the state of play in Wolfenstein: The New Order though, so you may as well get used to it.

Alternatively, like B.J. Blazkowicz, you could fight back. Some new images released from the game today show that id Tech 5 engine at work in this reboot of a reboot of a reimagining of the original Wolfenstein 3D (probably.)

It may not end up being as captivating as Philip K Dick’s The Man in the High Castle (the go-to piece of fiction for ‘what if Germany and Japan won WWII?’,) but at least this game will keep journalists employed with New Order headline puns.
