Alcatrazgedy: Black Ops II ‘Uprising’ DLC gets a PC release date
I’ve been to Alcatraz, and it’s both a great and terrible place to be fighting against zombies. On the plus side, it has a lot of narrow, defensible hallways. But the down-side is you’re trapped on an island with zombies. The latest Black Ops II DLC, ‘Uprising’ will no doubt be taking full advantage of this dichotomy when it’s released for the PC on 16 May.
Not only will you be fending off zombies in the new ‘Mob of the Dead’ mode, as the name suggests you’ll be doing it as one of four mobsters: Billy Handsome (Ray Liotta), Al “The Weasel” Arlington (Joe Pantoliano), Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca (Chazz Palminteri) and Michael “Finn” O’Leary (Michael Madsen). Tommy guns to the fore for that one.
The pack also has four new multiplayer maps, described as follows:
§ Magma – Set within a modern Japanese village, volcanic eruptions carve multiple paths throughout the town.
§ Encore – Taking place in the aftermath of a deserted London music festival, Encore leaves numerous opportunities for run-and-gun, close quarters combat.
§ Vertigo – A futuristic high-rise mega-structure located in India featuring dizzying vistas and multi-tiered pathways.
§ Studio – A contemporary re-imagining of “Firing Range,” the fan-favourite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. “Studio” is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.
It’ll set you back around £12.00 GBP, and you (obviously) need a copy of Black Ops II to run it.Related to this story
