Company of Heroes 2 beta starts next week
The Company of Heroes 2 beta is finally upon us as Relic get ready to test their highly anticipated RTS.
This closed beta test features the game’s multiplayer and Skirmish with access to six maps which include 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. There is also a co-op mode against the AI and Relic has included are the first 40 levels of progression so players can customise the load-outs.
The best will utilise Steamworks matchmaking and your Steam friends list so get that primed and ready to go if you plan on taking part.
Quinn Duffy, Game Director, said “We’ve added two brand new maps to the roster for this phase as well as the four already in the Alpha Stress Test. Players can battle fiercely for control of the Oka River, or brave a close quarters skirmish on the outskirts of Moscow.”
Could this be the most exciting RTS release this year? Well let’s just say that based on the previous title it could be a hard one to beat.
This first phase is open to pre-order customers and the beta will expand in the weeks ahead. Testing gets underway on Tuesday 2 AprilRelated to this story
