It’s been a busy time for Firaxis at PAX East with the announcement that theĀ Civilization 5: Brave New World expansion will release on 12 July in Europe and 9 July in the US.

The development team were also on-hand to demo the expansion’s new features which includes new civilisations and more. The video below pretty much covers everything new that was on show and there’s plenty to get excited about. Make sure you stick with it to the end for some XCOM fun.

New civilizations, victory condition, trade unit. That’s fine I guess, but when are they fixing the multiplayer? Everyone knows the multiplayer is atrocious, and they only just hired someone to work on the multiplayer starting early 2012 (which was preparation G&K.)
