Watch Lara tumble down a mountain for 11 minutes in this Tomb Raider footage
You know what’s a bit weird. Crystal Dynamics’ rationale for not releasing a demo of Tomb Raider was that they didn’t want to spoil parts of the story in advance. Well … alright, but that’s a stance that may have held more weight if ‘developer walkthrough’ videos weren’t being issued left, right and center.
Here’s a new one, featuring eleven minutes of Lara’s island trauma. I’ll not say too much about it, as spoilers do apply, but watch below if you’re not too bothered by that sort of thing.
Tomb Raider is due on 5 March.

No demo? Well I’m sure plenty of players will end up making a “demo” of their own upon release. Me? the game looks more like one big cinematic and walks the thin line between playing a video game and watching a movie. Game looks beautiful and gameplay animation is smooth and fluid. I’ll wait for a fan-made “Let’s Play” on YouTube to come out before deciding whether I’ll buy or not.
