Dragon Commander

After playing and loving Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, I’ve been keeping a keen eye on spin-off title Dragon Commander. Thanks to my own interest, I already know it’s a game where you hang out in a blimp with scheming politicians, move your armies around a strategic map, engage in RTS-style battles and potentially swing the tide by turning into a dragon and jumping (flying, I guess) into the action.

But other people might not know that, which is why Larian has put together this Dragon Commander video showing what’s what. It features a few interesting new additions too; last time I saw the game there weren’t really any ground or sea units. Now there are.

A fresh video is hopefully an indication that the title will be ready for release in the next few months.

Larian is also working on the aRPG, Divinity: Original Sin.
