Cross The Bridge on 22 February
Dubbed “Isaac Newton meets M. C. Escher.” (what would those conversations be like, I wonder?) The Bridge is a 2D indie title with a penchant for gravity puzzles and impossible architecture. It started life as part of co-creator Ty Taylor’s Master of Science degree in Computer Science, and now it’s a fully-fledged game.
The black and white art is hand-drawn, for which it nabbed an “achievement in art design” at the Indie Game Challenge 2012. It also won the “student showcase” award at IGF 2012. After looking at the image above, I’m giving it the inaugural “makes Peter’s brain softly weep” award 2013.
