Rise of the Triad goes Rise of the Charity
To raise a spot of money for the charity Child’s Play (and, let’s be honest here, to generate some publicity for the Rise of the Triad remake), developers Interceptor Entertainment will be livestreaming a play-through of the classic sci-fi adventure, Outcast. The voxel-heavy run will begin tomorrow at 8pm GMT/noon PST on this very channel here.
It’s an event in conjunction with GoG.com, and there will be prizes on offer throughout the proceedings. Various donation milestones will trigger prizes, like download codes for the original Rise of the Triad and Outcast itself. Viewers will also be helping to make choices in the game, and Interceptor indicate that they will not stop until Outcast is beaten.
The remake of Rise of the Triad will be released through Steam in 2013. Some images from the game can be found below.
