Indie platformer Thomas Was Alone now available on Steam
Thomas Was Alone met with favour here on IncGamers, with John Robertson giving it a hefty 8/10 and writing that the game offers “a unique narrative-driven experience”. However, thanks to what developer Mike Bithell described as “a ridiculous backlog” at Valve HQ, the title didn’t appear on Steam when the game was released back in June.
That’s all changed now though, with the game launching on Valve’s digital platform today. You can grab it for a discounted $9 USD if you act fast enough.
The version on Steam is updated to included full controller support and some of those ever-popular achievements. Bithell tells us that this release “is the culmination of a ton of awesome community support, and a fair bit of hard work”.
“I know a lot of players were waiting on a Steam release to check it out,” he adds.
