Diablo 3 Expansion Speculation: Feature & System Changes

17 Nov 2012  by   Paul Younger

Last week during the Activision/Blizzard financial conference call, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime confirmed the release of a Diablo 3 expansion. While we already knew an expansion an expansion would be on the cards at some point, at has now been confirmed. It goes without saying that at least one new class will be added, it’s the way expansions work, we don’t know much else about what could be on the cards however.

Since the game launched back in May it has been plagued with issues, whether its the connectivity problems when it launched or some very odd game mechanic decisions that are still to be rectified six months on, there is still work to be done on the original game. Oh, and there is still no PvP.

In a first in-depth article by the expert Diablo franchise team on Diablo: IncGamers, they look at what could be changed or added when it comes to game mechanics and expansion features. If you’re a fan of the series then this is a must-read.
