This Hotline Miami trailer does not mask the horror

As the murder-happy protagonist of Hotline Miami, you’ll need an animal mask to disguise your identity, look suitably hip, and contribute to the general sense of foreboding that surrounds everything about this game. Dennaton’s arcade-style, top-down festival of violence looks like it wants to peer into your soul, so block it out; wear a mask.

Different animals will have different effects, either upping the challenge or making your life a little bit easier.

This new trailer explains a few of them. Hotline Miami will begin trying to call your PC from 23 October.
