Public disservice: the SimCity ‘disasters’ trailer

Over the weekend Maxis released a few ‘disaster’ screenshots from SimCity. I know what you’re thinking though; what do those disasters look like in action? And what would happen if the footage had a quirky, 1950s BBC-style public safety voiceover?

Ok, you may not have been thinking that second part, but the trailer has it anyway. Learn what happens when you forget to build hospitals and fire-stations, below (this rule also applies to real life). Bonus points too for being one of very few videogame trailers to mention Spokane, Washington.

SimCity is coming to the PC in 2013.
