Miller’s Halo 4 trailer is a primer on Master Chief lore

Microsoft has been making a big noise about getting David Fincher (Fight Club, Alien 3) to produce this Halo 4 trailer, and Tim Miller (visual effects for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) to direct. It doesn’t matter that the end result is a fairly straightforward, two minute live-action videogame trailer; Microsoft just wants you to know it was expensive.
In the video, we revisit what little backstory has already been established about Master Chief (kidnapped as a kid and squirreled away to a quasi-fascist military training facility). And that’s … pretty much it.
Remember though, it was really expensive. So it must be good.
Halo 4 will be released worldwide on 6 November.

halo legends already kinda showed that spartans are kidnapped children, i do like the part that they use real actors rather then CG to solve their cut screens.
