The overspill from Robert Florence’s floodgate-opening article continues this week, with confirmation from Eurogamer editor Tom Bramwell that the piece was amended due to the threat of legal action. We discuss the implications of this detail, and question the stance of games sites who’ve either chosen to either remain quiet or dismiss the story’s relevance.

Speaking of a lack of relevance, The Golden Joystick Award winners were revealed last Friday. Did anyone truly care?

Probably not. But despite the depressing events of the past few days, the podcast team does still care about games. Throughout the broadcast you’ll hear thoughts on Hotline Miami, Painkiller: Hell & Damnation, Mechwarrior Online and Airmech.

There’s also some sizeable news about the future direction of the IncGamers.com site (right near the end).

Pick your style below. Compact and portable audio, or visual splendor. If you need more aural healing, iTunes is the place to be.

If you missed our special edition on Friday, dedicated to the Florence/Wainwright incident, you can listen to that here.
