The podcast team returns from an extended summer break, ready to delve into a deluge of Kickstarter projects that have dominated the news cycle of late. From the dizzying highs of Obsidian’sProject Eternity, to the unfortunate cancellation of Tom Hall and Brenda Brathwaite’s ‘old school RPG’ project, we chat about the ups, downs, peaks and pitfalls of the Kickstarter approach.

Plus! The winner of our “name a game from the last 20 years with the term ‘3D’ in the title that isn’t shit” contest. Spoiler: they’re a former member of the IncGamers staff. Additional spoiler: don’t worry, there wasn’t a prize.

Choose your preferred podcast flavour below. Audio and audio/visual varieties are available. Have a look at iTunes for some moments from the archives.

Not sure about this video setup. Don’t see the point in looking at faces. Plus, wheres the other guy that was on the Mass Effect 3 podcast? That was the best one you’ve done and that guy is actually pretty funny.

Hi Shep! That was John (Robertson) – he’s also on some of the other episodes in the archive, but work/time commitments mean we can’t always have everyone on. If you’re not keen on the visual option, the audio download is there for you. It may have some minor editing differences, but is otherwise 98% the same.

Glad to see you guys back in action. I’ve missed you all. But the audio download link appears to be broken.

I’ve re-uploaded the file (it had vanished, for some reason) and tested it out on this page – it should work now (both as a Stream and a download). Hopefully this isn’t something I can only see on my end …
